Fratelli Da Lozzo
In the Prosecco lands near Conegliano (Treviso), brothers Andrea and Gianni Da Lozzo in their 13 hectares produce and sell Prosecco DOC and organic wines that combine modernity and tradition.
The history of this winery began through a love of their land. A call of generations that first involved grandparents and then parents, a way to keep the family together that thus led everyone before and after to desire to become winemakers. Today the Società Agricola F.lli Da Lozzo is represented by two brothers, Andrea and Gianni, who, after studying, decided to take this path in the wine world. This allows them to follow firsthand, carefully, and scrupulously, the entire selective and production process. The vineyards have only high-quality grapes, this allows them to always obtain an excellent wine. In 2015 there was the conversion to the organic method, with an initial area of 2.5 hectares of Pinot grigio, Prosecco and Merlot. Then the following year, thanks to the excellent results it was decided to bring the entire production area to organic cultivation. Finally, in 2017 a machine was purchased to treat the vineyards even more efficiently with zero impact on the environment. This enormous work has led to the total organic certification of the company.
All this work allowed the winery to give birth in 2018 to its first totally organic vintage.
Andrea and Gianni produce 3 different types of Prosecco (Brut, Extra Dry and Rosé), a Pinot Grigio, a Chardonnay and a Merlot.
